We always like to have a couple of estate cars on site. Finding low mileage examples is the tricky bit, so we are delighted to have come across this Peugeot, direct from its retired, local owner. Bought new and registered on 16/4/09, the couple have only clocked up 32,200 miles, which is most unusual for an estate and explains why they are now the owners of one car instead of two. Looking through the service history and the VOSA registered mileage readings, the first MoT certificate was issued on 3/4/12 at 17,532 miles (in three years!) followed by the 11/4/13 entry at 21,129 miles, then 28/3/14 at 24,502 miles, 10/4/15 at 27,937 miles, 12/4/16 at 29,455 miles and last but not least, the latest MoT test was carried out on 20/3/18 at 31,740 miles! The service book shows the first service carried out on 15/6/09 at 1,284 miles, the second service on 15/4/11 at 12,175 miles, followed by routine maintenance entries on 21/10/11 at 14,451 miles, 5/5/12 at 16,174 miles, 10/11/12 at 18,941 miles, 16/7/13 at 21,887 miles, 5/7/14 at 25,014 miles,16/8/15 at 28,427 miles, 12/7/16 at 29,957 miles and 30/8/17 at 31,998 miles. Wow! If only all cars had a record like this!! The new owner of this car will be presented with a 12 month certificate at the time of collection - someone is going to get the benefit of a great workhorse with plenty of potential.
The car is fitted with a smart aluminium roof bar set and drives beautifully. The alloy wheels have inevitably succumbed to road salt and a little bubbling on the rims, so we have had all four shotblasted and powder coated to the original silver (by the best specialists in this field we have come across). From an aesthetic point of view, they now set the car off a treat, the practical angle being that you won't be troubled by the all too commonplace hassle of slow punctures due to alloy wheel oxidisation. As with all our retail cars, two keys are supplied.
Estate cars usually do a lot more work than this one - it is not uncommon to see identical models with upwards of 120,000 miles, so if this 'floats your boat' please get in touch. Imagine... you are reading this now, therefore, technically, anyone else who is on the World Wide Web can see it. OK, we realise it is of very little interest to anyone away from these shores, but as this writeup has been a bit on the analytical side already, you need to know that on the British mainland, 63,785,916 other people have access to this car directly by computer/phone or device, or know someone who can tip them off about it. Let's face it, you only need one serious buyer to pip you to the post and you've missed a bargain! Call us on 01663 763355, or pop in for a look. Part exchange is welcome.
