There is an element of 'Deja Vue' about the Hyundai i10 for us at HLG, as it is like discovering the Honda Jazz all over again! By this we mean that we bought our first Jazz nine years ago or so and found it to be the most reliable, versatile, well engineered we had come across, leading to the Jazz becoming our all time best seller (At the time of writing, we see our 344th Jazz on the forecourt). So the Hyundai i10 came into our lives and we have nicknamed it 'The Small Jazz,' as it displays the same attributes of build quality and 'always being there for you' ness. We have probably handled around 22 i10 models now and we are on the look out for plenty more, based on our very positive experience. It wouldn't surprise us one jot if the boffins at Hyundai had bought a Jazz, taken it apart and dissected its DNA basing their plans for a smaller version on their findings. Car manufacturers have been known to do this sort of thing and there can be no doubt that you as the end user benefits from the practice. If it's good enough for Haynes Manuals, it's good enough for Hyundai!
This particular example is the 1248cc 'Active' model. It has had just two private owners, the first in Warrington, followed by a move to its new keeper in St. Helens. (We drove to Warrington the other day to collect yet another Jazz, encountering a blizzard on the return journey, but we'll go anywhere for a nice Jazz, there's simply no cure. We'll be collecting i10 models all over the mainland before we know it, so we can bring you the best ones and do the hard work for you - aren't we thoughtful?)
At just 20,600 miles, this delightful Hyundai (we pronounce it 'Hi-un-di', although there was a notable television ad. a few years ago which proclaimed the marque to be 'Hyun-day,' which doesn't seem to have caught on here; maybe that's how they say it in Malaysia, where the car division is but a small part of a giant manufacturing conglomerate) looks and drives well and we are delighted to offer it. You can buy here with confidence, as we agonise over every car we retail and have the workshop facilities to look after you every step of the way.The service book is stamped on 15/8/14 at 6,504 miles,10/8/15 at 11,542 miles and 3/8/16 at 16,980 miles, then there will be a service carried out in our workshop for the new owner and an MoT test (the present certificate expires on 31/8/18, but you won't need to worry about having it tested for a year from purchase).
We're very happy with the model (and its sister car, the Kia Picanto, engineered by the same team) and you can expect to see a lot more of both models for sale on our forecourt. We'll find the right ones - no rubbish here - and you can relax in the knowledge that you are dealing with a long established garage staffed by people who actually care about what you drive, with proper workshop back up to keep you safe.
If you can visualise this car in your garage, on your driveway or wherever you park your car, please let us know. We are known to be easy to deal with and won't try to sell you another few hundred pounds' worth of add-ons, which seems so prevalent at so many dealerships nowadays. We keep it simple and you can speak to us Monday to Friday on 01663 763355, or bob in and have a chat.
This car is now sold, but we have another on with 36,000 miles due on sale in the next few days at £5,195. Food for thought? Call us on 01663 763355. Thanks.
