Since its inception back in 2006, the plucky little Toyota Aygo has made its mark for sure. The Aygo, many of you will know, was a joint venture between Toyota, Peugeot and Citroen, due to the ferociously expensive development costs of small carsfor a manufacturer. The Peugeot 107 (now renamed the 108) and the Citroen C1 are, in essence the same car as the Aygo in terms of underpinnings and engines, with restyled front and rear treatment and interior trims customised to each marque.
This lovely 'Aygo Black' has arrived direct from its owner and we are very happy with it: a nice clean example with only 59,600 miles, six services stamped in the book and this example has the huge advantage for many people of being the 5 door model. As the name suggests, the car is finished in black (with a nice metallic lustre) and it is clean inside and out. It drives as it should and will do somene proud, plus the price is right. The annual road tax for this car is just £20 and it falls nicely into the lowest insurance segment.
A couple of years ago, we parted company with our Aygo courtesy car at 115,000 miles, which amply demonstrates the capability of the 998cc engine when properley maintained. We have handled quite a few of these popular models and their Peugeot / Citroen badged derivatives and we have been very satisfied with our experience of them. We actually have two others in stock at the time of writing (details on request) and will be happy to discuss your requirements and part exchange if you have one.
